Why Did You Set Up Real Good Fitness?
After more than 10 years as a personal trainer, I’ve seen both the good and the bad in the fitness industry. Too often, gyms can feel competitive, judgmental, and cliquey—which can be intimidating for many people.
I wanted to create something different. Real Good Fitness is an outdoor group workout experience built on inclusivity, fun, and real progress—without egos or intimidation.
Exercising outdoors makes a huge difference. The fresh air, natural surroundings, and sense of freedom help clear the mind, reduce stress, and boost mental well-being—something a traditional gym can’t offer.
Real Good Fitness is for everyone, whether you’re new to fitness or an experienced athlete. It’s not about competing—it’s about growing stronger together.

Absolutely! Fitness should be enjoyable, especially when you start seeing real progress. Finding enjoyment in movement is what Real Good Fitness is all about.
What Advice Would You Give to Anyone Thinking About Joining?
Starting is the hardest part, but once you take that first step, you can keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Why Did You Become a Trainer? Why Real Good Fitness?
I studied Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation, and Massage at university, but my experience was affected by COVID. However, I quickly realised I loved coaching and helping people improve their fitness.
After university, my brother (Connor) was growing Real Good Fitness and needed an extra hand—it felt like the perfect fit to apply my skills and passion to a business that aligned with my values.

Absolutely! If training isn’t fun, why would anyone stick with it? That doesn’t mean it won’t be challenging—but pushing yourself, seeing progress, and overcoming obstacles are rewarding.
What Advice Would You Give to Anyone Thinking About Joining?
Be prepared for all kinds of weather—but don’t worry, you’ll always warm up fast! Consistency is key to getting results.

The barbell back squat—nothing beats the feeling of moving some serious weight.
